You're gross, dude.

i think you must prick yourself each time you check your blood. And bathe every day.....maybe you will get rid of the nasty scabs.

"Scabs" = healing wounds. If you keep picking them, they will not heal as quickly, which is a potential problem if you are a diabetic.

If you use a new lancet, the pain of finger testing will be a lot less than ripping the scab off of a wound.

No babe!! you must have "peripheral" blood. this is the blood from the little capillaries in your fingers or toes. This is the preference blood. Alternate site prickings like on arm need to be calculated differently.

Scab picking is a NO NO!! 1 - it leaves a bigger scar when it finally heals; 2 - it may have infection in it or get infected this will be a wrong glucose reading; 3 - it hurts more than just a finger pricking!! and bleeds a lot more!!

Put some antibiotic ointment on the sores and allow them to heal!! Prick your fingers or toes to get your glucose reading. More accuracy!!

Do more regular HbA1C testings to keep a check, if daily pricks are too painful. Don't do the scab thing.

some meter only work for u fingers plus that area is infected in a way so thats just gross

you should not pick the scabs because that could mean they can get infected and scar or cause serious health problems
