Pain in left side of abdomen?!

Question: I have had this pain in my left side just below my left breast for a few months now. I did have a lump in my breast also a couple of months ago, which turned out to be a cyst. I did have my gall bladder removed 20 years ago, but have recently gained back 40 pounds, and I am pretty overweight now, would you know what is causing this pain? (I recently had something like the stomach flu that lasted two weeks too)

You could be feeling spasms in the splenic flexure of you large bowel, which makes a bend in the left upper belly next to your spleen. Are your stools OK? If they are either loose of hard, using fibre such as linseed 2 to 5 spoonful daily in yoghurt could help.
Btw, the belly is the mirror of one's mind, anyhing going on in your mind like being unhappy about something, having a conflict you can't resolve with somebody etc. etc.?

there is nothing there that will cause pain other than your bowel. you probably have gas or need to poop. loose some weight, it may help

I believe that would be your spleen. It is probably enlarged. I would suggest going to the doctor. If they cannot feel it, you can have a ultrasound to see if that's the problem. Hope this helps.

Also, your spleen can become enlarged when you have mononucleosis.
