Are oats gluten free?!

Question: In fact, oats are now considered gluten-free. For a long time they were not.

However, researchers found that the reason they had gluten in them was due to cross contamination with wheat gluten during processing, storage and transport.

There are now a few companies processing oats in dedicated facilities so that they are gluten-free and do not come into contact with wheat.

You can purchase certified gluten-free oats here:

Hope this helps!
