it is either a sting or a zit. Get some antihistamine gel and it should get better. If it is a zit, it can come from greasy hair, allergy to a new shampoo ( you should get some more of these, and they don't have to itch).
Either way, this will be gone in a few days and should not worry you.

Oh, make sure it is not a tick. There is a risk for lyme disease that would necessitate you taking antibiotics for 2 weeks (they have redness like a target scheme around the bite, which moves outward over time).

If it is a tick, you should see a doctor.
If it is not, or you do not know, wait to see if the redness spreads and get the antihistamine gel.

BTW, bites on the head always swell up a lot more than on other parts of the body as there is little space between the skin on your head and the bone underneath. Just add some ice.

try putting ice on it and see if it changes. If it gets bigger get it checked out. Don't pick at it.

Could be a wart , google them and possible treatments , if you think you have it

Could be a pimple or ingrown hair.
