Is it possibly breast cancer?!

Question: My huband's niece is 25 years old, single. She woke up one day a week ago with painful swollen breasts. A discharge, looks like pus, flowed from the left nipple. She also had fever. Her breasts aren't too big (just 34"). but she can't stand up straight when they hurt coz she feels they're very heavy and she feels the weight is pulling her facedown. The swelling has not subsided and still hurts once in awhile till today. could it possibly be breast cancer or something else?

Sounds more like imflamation but I would get it checked right away. Sometimes the breast ducks get infected but you need to see a doctor.
Best of luck I hope your niece is OK

It sure could be, but these symptoms are the same as other disorders to. Go see a doctor right now!

Yes it definitely could be cancer. My next question is why are you wasting time waiting for an answer on yahoo? Get her to a doctor! Good luck!

get her to a doctor so she can get a mammogram and fast. - that way she will know if she has breast cancer or not. if not then she has a infection in her breast. - only a doctor will know for sure

Pain, swelling, discharge of pus from the nipple, sounds like mastitis, an inflammation or infection of the breast. Have her see her doc.
