My mom told us that when my brother was a baby he had worms. She took him to the doctor and they gave him meds. it wasn't a huge deal I guess. Don't listen to anyone trying to say its your fault because your under cooking food. My brother was a freakin baby yet he got it too.

I'd take him to the doctor and see what they have to say.

Good Luck!

A lot of people have parisiites without knowing it. Herbal remedy is wormwood. An herb that kills parisites.

Thats sick. What you should do is deworm him by treating him with antibiotics. Although I saw this one video at school which said that worms may stay in your body forever. Try cooking the food you feed him better next time

What kind of worms did he have. Has he been treated?
If he is somehow reinfecting himself you need to find the source. Round worms, whip worms and hook worms are often found in the soil. If he plays out in the dirt it is possible that is the source of recurring infection.

Proper diagnosis is important. Your doctor need to do a fecal floatation exam. Worms are identified by their eggs not by what the actual worm looks like.

A lot of people have parasites, and dont even know it, common parasites are hookworms and pinworms, If you have animals (especially ones that drag there but on the groud) you might want to treat them. You can also get intestinal parasites from walking around outside bare footed.
You don't treat them with antibiodics, antibiodics kill bactirea
everyone in the house might need to be treated also

Small white worms around the anal area (especially itchy at night) are typically pinworms. They are harmless, but the itching is severe and annoying. Even before seeing your Pediatrician, you can perform the 'tape test' to your child.

Put some double-sided tape (or Scotch tape, sticky side out) on a popsicle (or similar) stick. Since pinworm adults come out of the rectal intestinal area at night to lay eggs around the anus, you take the taped stick during the night (or first thing in the morning) and apply several sticky-taped areas to the anus and immediate anal area. This will stick the eggs (and sometimes a few worms) to the tape.

Then take it in to your doctor to look under the microscope to confirm the pinworm diagnosis. The treatment is mebendazole (Vermox). Usually, family members are also given a single dose since these worms are contagious (by direct contact, typically from the child getting the eggs under their fingernails from itching). That's how other kids end up getting it.

It's not really a hygiene problem since 30-50% of young kids can have it. As for the abdominal pain, it is unlikely caused by pinworms, but rare cases of diarrhea, cramps and bladder infections (in young girls) have been reported. Let your doctor check him.

if his age is above 2 years
give
tab.ZENTEL 400 mg
as a single dose

next dose in next month
