The difference between amoxicillin and augmentin?!

Augmentin is Amoxicillin + Clavulanic (Sp?) Acid.

They are in a different class of medicine. They help with different illnesses. Sometimes the doctor will give you amoxicillin and if that doesn't help they will see if you get better with augmentin.
