Will someone plz help me? is it normal for my acne to have lasted almost a year?!
Question: I'm only 17 years old on my senior year in highschool, but when i got acne during my junior year..my self esteem went all the way down, i hate it! it feels like it will never go away!!what should i do??

I had very bad acne from 13 to 16 years old. By 16 my skin was so bad that nothing was helping e.g facial washes, natural stuff or changing my diet. In the end my mum took me to a skin specialist and it changed my life. I had to go on a really hard drug to completely dry out my skin. But it was worth it as it cleared my skin completely and stopped scarring.
I'm 25 now but I still vivdly remeber being teased even by my mates for being a 'pizza face'. It was bloody horrible but with help it will get better. Just remeber your not alone.
See a dermatologist. It will be money well spent.
