Who has had the flu already this season?!
Question: How does it compare to other bouts of the flu that you have had? More or less severe or just different? How long did it take for you to recover?
I just got my flu shot last week (a little behind schedule), so am a bit worried that I might still pick it up, especially since a co-worker was sick with it last week, and is back to work today!

I got nailed by the flu about a week after I got a flu shot.
Go figure. I just think it was bad timing. My understanding is that it only protects against the Influenza virus.
I haven't had it ( luckily!)

The weather this year has been extremely cold, so no flu for us and our family.
If you have received a flu shot, if you happen to get the flu you tend to recover faster.
