Is hydrophobia the same thing as rabbis?!

Hydrophobia is a symptom of rabbis but not necessarily the same way around.

You're talking bout rabbies?
Bcuz hydrophobia is fear of the water and rabbies is something animals get from being exposed to infection from blood. I guess hydrophobia could be a symptom of rabbies.

Hydrophobia is an extreme aversion to water.
Rabbis are Jewish teachers.

While I'm sure there are some Rabbis who cannot swim, I don't think it a 'fair cop' to describe all Rabbis as hydrophobic.

There was however a movie released in 1913 titled "Help! Help! Hydrophobia!" staring Fatty Arbuckle. Despite being allegedly Jewish, Fatty Arbuckle was never considered a Rabbi by any stretch, and frankly after his third trial he wasn't considered much by anyone.

All this to say that I'm really at a loss to see how you could confuse the fear of water and being a rabbi. Being a Rabbi has nothing to do with water or yelling (as you would seem to imply by your 'Old Yeller' reference. Rabbi means a religious
