Absolutely do not hesitate to take him back to the doctor. Pneumonia can take a turn for the better or the worse very, very quickly -- so it's best to stay on top of it. Stay on the meds at the scheduled times, do the other things the doctor said to give the baby comfort. You could call the doctor's office to ask for help/advice over the phone; but if it were me, I'd take him back in to be seen and examined.

If you feel it isn't getting better or he is getting worse take him back to the doctor. What are they going to do? Charge you with being a loving and concerned mom! Pneumonia does kill and it isn't worth the second guessing. Also are you staying on a schedule with his meds?

KEEP HIM NICE AND WARM, give him his medicine on time, lots of fluids, vitamins won't hurt,

AND LOTS OF LOVE!!!!
