Ance in weird places???!

Question: Does anyone else get acne in weird places? (ie. inside the ear, back, shoulders, under eyebrow, inbetween the crease of my elbow, back of my legs/knees, etc) and if so, what do you use to get rid of it?

You're not weird. I've suffered from these problems too, have done a lil research, and figured solme things out on my own.

1) The ear is like a dirt trap because of the structure. To get rid of acne here, scrup very well with a scrubby pad in the shower at night, and clean with a Q-tip ad alcohol in the morning.

2) The back and shoulders are the second most common place acne occurs, next to the face. I use Neutrogena Body Clear Body Wash with a scrubby pad in the shower, and it works miracles! I also use Clean and Clear sacylic acid treatment during the day to keep pores clea.

3) Under the eyebrows and the elbows are simbly places that, when washing the face and body, commonly gets missed. Pay special attention to those areas from now on.

4) The legs puzzled me the most, but I did some research and found that unclean razor blades actually cause that! I tried taking care to clean my razor especially well and it took care of that problem.

If you follow all these things, I think your acne should greatly improve in no time. Mine did! :)

Pop them and just use acne soap products from sunharvest. I have gotten them in those places it's normal. We have over excessive sebum glands that produce acne. It's in our genes, so all we can do is work with it.

Honestly dear is sounds like you need to wash better or shower more. I have had pimples inside the ear and that sucks. I always try antibiotic ointment when i have pesky zits. A pimple is simply a localized infection. a few days of ointment generally clears it up. Inside the arms and knees is strange to me. Sweat and oils build up there. Wash with a mild soap daily and it should help. Back and chest really isn't unusual. Again use a mild soap and it should clear up. My dermatologist told me to use a soap called Cetaphil. It helped me face quite a bit.

Yes, acne can happen anywhere! Acne is caused by a combination of bacteria and clogged pores, and you have pores all over your body...as well as bacteria. So just wash your skin well with an antibacterial soap, and don't pop them! Popping them introduces bacteria and causes scars..just wash them! If they are white, two Qtips can be used gently to release the yucks..:)

do not listen to the first guy!

Put about 10 drops of tea tree oil in your bath or you can put it directly on the affected areas. Tea tree oil is a very strong natural antiseptic and it's cheap... you can get it at Wal-mart. Also, you might need to examine what your eating... if it's alot of fast-food and junk then, you may have your answer... toxins leave the body in all sorts of ways and, acne is one way. The person who mentioned bathing and infection.... that's the most b.s. I've heard in a long time ! If your a teenager or pregnant, it could all be your hormones and thats something that will pass.

I used to get bad acne all over the place too, even though I used all the acne scrubs, creams, antibiotics and face masks I could get my hands on. What really took them away forever, and oily skin too, was a drug called Roaccutane - I live in NZ, so may not be under same brand name where you are, but it has changed my life! It cleared up the acne after 6months and it has been gone since! Really dries your skin out while you take it too, and you have to be careful in the sun. So ask your doctor about it.
