If it is herpes, and it sounds like it is, please get a doctors diagnosis, and some good, responsible information on the disease. It's scary to get, and painful, and incredibly hard emotionally - but you get over it.

20% of adults in the US have genital herpes. So you aren't alone. If you want some good, no-nonsense, confidential information, try contacting the American Social Health Association. Their hotline was a godsend to me when I was first diagnosed with genital herpes. You can find their web site at the link below.

It is important to know that herpes can lie dormant for years before symptoms appear, and most people who have genital herpes don't realize that they have it - even though they can spread the disease to others. If you and/or your husband have EVER had other partners, it will be impossible to know who got it from whom, or who gave it to whom.

You should also know that most herpes symptoms subside over time. The worst outbreaks are usually the first ones. Over time, as your immune system better combats the disease, the outbreaks will likely diminish.

Good luck.

Sounds like classic Herpes symptoms. Go to the DR to confirm it and get some advice on treatment.

Some kind of Herpes...Why are you waiting to figure it out yourself? You should see a doctor right of way!

I don't know what you think it is. Go to the doc. Could be genital warts, syphyllis or any number of things. The doc is the only one who can diagnose what you have going on.

oh no! that sounds like herpes! go to the dr asap!

Very likey Herpes. See a Doc and get on some suppressive therapy.

it could be herpes or an ingrown hair - ingrown hairs usually form many little bumbs or just a few big bumps along the biniki line.

sounds like herpes...... get some valtrex in ya system before it spreads and gets worse
