For you-Try Mederma or other OTC (over the counter) scar treatments...you can get them at your local Walgreens, CVS, Wal-Mart.....
and for your friend, I use St. Ives Apriot Scrub. Don't use poufs because they are great for retaining bacteria. ew.
for your friend, aveeno is a great product i use. its natural and gentle but cleans you at the same time. for you.. im not to sure, but maybe mederma... the scar treatment. hope i helped.
I had the same problem when I was younger, I saw a dermitologist who perscribed tetracycline and that cleared up the scaring from the inside out.
Use Perla soap for your scars. They are available at wal-mart.
