Is it possible to get a stomach virus from the mucous produced in your sinuses?!

Question: I have had a sinus infection for a week now, and some of the mucous I have been coughing out of my lungs and so often it I can't bring it to my mouth to spit out. Is it possible that I am nauseated because the mucous is getting into my stomach and causing a virus there I feel so sick right now, and have no other means of explanation.

The ony things that really helped me was when my Dr. told me about a sinus wash that will kill bacteria.
you need

distilled water
sea salt
liquid chlorophyll and colloidal silver from the health food store.
in a glass mix 1/4 cup water with a pinch of salt and heat to body temperature.
add 5 drops each silver and chlorophyll and mix.
using a large dropper (like one used for infant medication) drop 2 full droppersfull into one side of the nose while laying down.
Turn the head and let it drain out the other nostril. Be sure to have paper towels handy.
The silver kills the bacteria and there are several hundred kind that can live in the sinus cavities and anti biotics don't get rid of them all.
Do this twice a day for a week, mixing up the mixture fresh each time.
Then do it once a week for maintenance.
There is nothing in this that will hurt you, and it cured me.
I do not have to take claritin, or antibiotics anymore.
best wishes

The stomach's digestive juice will take care of the virus in the mucous. Too much mucus will make you nauseated not the virus.

No. The nausea is from the mucous in your stomach. Same as if you had a nose bleed and swallowed a lot of the blood. It may even cause diarrhea. Try coughing out as much as you can when you are in a steamy shower. Take an anti-histamine if you are able. That will dry out your nasal passages. If not, try Mucinex. It may help. Make sure that you don't have high blood pressure or heart rate first. Talk to the pharmacist if you have any questions. Good luck and feel better soon.
