Small clusters of little bumps on upper body?!


Question: over my neck , arms ,back ,chest, and stomach are areas of small bumps. they ich a little bit. but arent getting bigger or turning red. theyre just there, and i see a few new ones everyday.

some areas have very little bump clusters, others are single bumps, and it hasnt gotten to my legs at all.

im not allergic to anything,or eatin anything out of the ordinary recently. and ive had them about 3days now

(im goin to see about it tomorrow)
was wonderin would u have an idea of what it could be

It sounds like eczema, or contact dermatitis, which is treatable. Good idea going to the doctor.

sounds like scabies. ugh they suck!! hopefully its not!!

could be a virus

You could possibly have something called "KP" which stands for keratosis pilaris. My son has these little bumps all over his cheeks (he's only 8) and the skin is very dry. He also has it on the backs of his arms, but it's not as noticable there. When he uses lotion on his face, it makes it much better, but it doesn't go away completely.

The dermatologist said that it's one of the most common skin irritations, and that sometimes laundry detergents / fabric
softeners make it worse.

There is no "cure" for KP, but it can certainly be controlled. His doesn't itch, but it is uncomfortable because it's dry.

Look up keratosis pilaris online and you will find some pictures of different variations of it.
