Numb finger....loses color and feeling????!

Question: Today, I went to wash my hands and noticed my left ring finger was white and tingly numb feeling...all my other fingers were regular color! This lasted for about 5 - 6 minutes. What is this? The loss of color has happened before, but usually the whole hand when it's cold. (my toes do this also). This time I was indoors and warm so I can't explain or understand it. Any idea's, serious only please, would be greatly appreciated. :)

Raynaud's syndrome

1) Don't worry you're ok.

2) My mother and former high school teacher both had the same problem. It's a circulatory issue, and is apparently pretty common. Both women would get it in 2 fingers on their left hand pretty frequently (when it was cold) and they solved the problem by wearing gloves in the winter.

3) Check with your doctor just in case. This isn't an emergency, but may be a sign of other disorders.

i have not the slighest idea. but your best bet is to see a doctor

I like to know as well. Its happened to me from time to time since I was a kid.

Cant be fatal, I was a kid a long time ago. lol

sounds like Raynaud's syndrome .Look it up and see if it matches your symptoms
