Why do you not want to get warts, what is the big deal?!
Question: I know wrts are probly ugly and all, but I don't have them. I do have hpv , but the the strain the casues genital warts, but all theese peole taling about genital warts never say why you don't want to get them, Imean what is the health hazord here, what can they od to you so bad that makes you not want them. I think comercials and advertisement should say what health complications they can casue. As hy make it seem(in my opinion anyway) you don't want warts just becasue they may be unsightly or painful......please help......and yes I know this is probly something I should know but I dont have them and considering how common it seams to be I want the downlow?

well to all the smart *** that answered befor me it is a skin deformity. this can be cancerous especialy if you notice that it starts to grow or change shape or size you should get it looked at by a doctor if he says its nothing, you can just get some dr. scholls wart removels.

Uh. You like warts. I have warts. You wanna go out?
The warts can be pretty dramatically hideous. I'm still scarred by the photos from microbiology class. The strains that cause cancer are mainly not the ones that cause big ugly warts.
The reason people make a big thing out of genital warts is because the virus HPV which causes genital warts can cause cervical cancer (certain strains of HPV) and research has shown that it may cause head and neck cancer. For these reasons people try to avoid exposure to HPV.
