Why is it when you have a fever you feel so cold?!


Question: when you have a fever-you're body starts to recognize this temperature as normal. so to your body, room temperature is too cold and you start shivering.

once you take medication to lower it, or it goes down on it's own-you'll stop shivering.

your body is not used to being so hot you feel the cold easier

The toxins from bugs and from own body reset our thermostat in hipothalamus to a higher setting. Then the body as a whole reacts to generate heat. This gives you chills and later fever.
To avoid fever you should take meds (Aspirin, Tylenol,etc..) when you first strat with chills.
