Can someone become substantially dehydrated without experiencing any typical cau!
Question: In other words, no recent sickness, infection that I am aware of. No vomiting and only occasional bouts with the runs. No excessive exercise. The reason I ask is I have been experiencing some dizziness lately and I am trying to narrow down possibilities. One thing is I have changed my diet substantially recently, eliminating sodas, fatty foods, etc. and now eat a much healthier diet, but didn't really increase my water intake until today, which seemed to help my dizziness a little at least.

You can absolutely become dehydrated and not really know it. But dizziness isn't really a "sign" of dehydration, so I don't think that's the cause. Are you on new meds for your BP or cholesterol?
What makes you think it's dehydration? Dehydration is usually marked by dark urine with a strong odor. Is that what you are experiencing?
Perhaps you are suffering from caffeine withdrawl from cutting our sodas?
