It one of the better antibiotics for acne so it will work but it depends on the individual. I took it for a while and it cleared my acne within 2 weeks, but I had to stop taking it because I was getting headaches while on it.
The results vary for individuals but you probably will start seeing results after 1 month.
I used to take them. I think they work differently for everyone. For me, they worked really well for a few weeks, then the spots would come back, but to a lesser degree than before.
In my experience, and it's different for everyone, I found all the stuff about diet to be completely useless. Tea tree oil soap helped a bit.
