Is it possible for a untreated ear infection to spread?!
Question: I ahd an ear infection a few months back and after only a few days of taking the antibiotic forgot about it and stopped.
Every once in a while the ear would bother me again but i never started taking the medicine again.
Now everyonce in a while in the back of my head it feels much like my ear does when the infection hurts.
If it couldn't be the infection, do you know what it may be?

It is possible for an untreated ear infection to spread and result in brain abscesses. These can be very serious. If the pains in the head or ear continue get to a doctor.
Get consultation ASAP, it may be serious.
