How can i get rid of cold sores on my nose?!

Question: I have been ill and had a cold, i kept blowing my nose and wiping my nose and i have been left with a cold sore on the tip of my nose.
I have had this for 2 weeks now and it keeps bleeding and scabbing up, i dont pick it becuase i want it to just heel quick.
This is driving me mad, people have made comments saying it looks like a mole but i really know what they think because it looks like dried up snot, as the scab is green and brown.
Any help on how to get rid of this quick?
Thanks

This is probably not a cold sore per se, but a skin break that has become infected. A simple antiseptic ointment should help, though you may have to apply it quite frequently.

You could try Lysine supplements:

Lysine and cold sore studies have suggested the intake of 1,500 to 2,000 milligrams daily as a measure to prevent recurrence, and of 3,000 milligrams daily if you feel that a cold sore outbreak is about to start, until the sores completely heal. Report It
