Tonsil stones? STDs?!

Question: I performed oral sex around 3 days ago, but starting yesterday my throat started to get really sore and I began to lose my voice. I feel like there is a lot of phlegm in my throat but I am not sure. I recently looked in the mirror and I saw that my left tonsil and my left tonsil only was sollen with rough white spots on it.They seem to be like calluses. It is also pretty painful to swallow.

If this is an STD, is there a place I can go to get it treated without having my parents find out?

umm it almost sounds like tonsilitis...
you should get it checked because either way.. you need to get it fixed.
tonsilitis usually ends up in having to remove your tonsils.
ive never heard of an std reaching all the way to the back of your throat before though.
you should ask your partner if hes ever been checked and who hes been with before... find out his history just incase..
if you have a planned parent hood around your area you can go there and your parents wont find out...

but youll have to tell them later about your tonsils because if they get worse they might swell and block your air passage.

Yikes, that is not good at all...it sounds like thrush or something. Go to your local Planned Parenthood or equivalent; they don't have to tell your parents.

And, uh, I would stay away from that person from now on!

No one on here can tell you what you have for sure but you do need medical care. It may be strep so go to a doctor, or call your doctor and ask if they won't tell your parents if you come in and have treatment or you can go to planned parenthood and also some local health departments offer free or reduced cost std testing...Take care and seek medical attention from a doctor
