Do lymph nodes swell from allergies?!
Question: About 2 years ago I went to the doctor about a small bump under my left arm about the size of a pencil eraser, but they said that it didn't move around like a lymph node and to just keep an eye out on it. It's been there since, but about 2 days ago I woke up with it really tender, and I realized that it had gotten almost twice as large as it was before. I realized that the morning that I noticed the difference my allergies started acting up again (sore throat, runny nose, itchy eyes...you know, the usual stuff that makes you want to crawl right back into bed). Do you think that it should be something that I should be worried about, or do you think that it could just be a swollen lymph node due to allergies?

Could be allergies or a bacterial/viral infection as well. These types of infections can cause your lymph nodes to swell. Go get checked out by a doctor!
