Can my dad still be a risk to lung cancer- he stopped smoking over 15 years ago?!

Question: Yes, everyday he does not smoke the risk decreased, but the risk never completely gets eliminated. Also what kind of work environment does he go to everyday... factory worker, coal mine etc, the environment he works in along with smoking is a major issue. Does he hang out in areas (bowling alleys, bars etc) were there is smoke in the air... second hand smoke is a big risk factor for developing lung ca
