Lumps in my pelvis area?!

Question: this is embarassing but the other day I have found a knot in my skin where my vagina begins to open, at first it feels like a bug bite but then i push around and i feel a knot, it doesnt hurt when I push on it but I am worried about it, I am passing a kidney stone on my left side and thats where the knot is, I had to have surgery about a week or two ago, I had a bad infection and they had to put a stint up me to drain it. I am really scared, my boyfriend also has a knot in his left testicle but it feels more like a big vain and it appears and disappears, we are in a monogonus relationship, please help!!! if it was a ingrown hair it would hurt right>??? please tell me what it is...

I need to know more about this "knot" before I make a cyber diagnosis, also, do you shave? This could account for the ingrown hair (which don't always hurt) but is this "knot" surface or internal? is it red? I want to ask you to squeeze it but I probably shouldn't. Should I?

It coud be a Bartholin's cyst. See a physician.
