Acne...Pimples...HELP?!

Question: I seriously need help.

It is a two part question.

Ok, over the summer, I had like NO pimples at all. And all of sudden back in like September-October I've been breaking out. And it is getting worse. Well it isn't that bad, just in a few spots.

1. Is there any ways to avoid getting pimples? Suggestions? What kind of Acne Cream? *I was using Clearasil but it isn't working anymore*

And second. I've had a big pimple on my nose and on the side of my lip. I got it like a few days before Christmas. Now on my nose, there is just a little bubble that is like a purplish color. I can't pop it, there is nothing under it. And on my lip, it went away but there is a red mark that won't go away.

2. Any suggestions to get rid of it??? This is embarressing! I have to use cover up because it's weird looking.

From the pics and description, I would say you are the in the early stages of developing cystic acne (this is the type of acne which forms lumps under the skin that take a long time to go away and can cause scarring). The lump could be a sebaceous cyst (a harmless over-enlargement of the sebaceous gland under the skin), or it could be an acne nodule that has developed scar tissue under the skin. In either case, a dermatologist can help with treating the lump.

You didn't mention your age, but I would guess you are in your teens. Over-the-counter treatments are, unfortunately, not particularly effective for this type of acne -- OTC treatments are best for mild/moderate acne. You really need to see a dermatologist to get this under control before it develops further (I speak from personal experience). Changes to diet (there is little-to-no relationship between acne and diet), over-the-counter treatments, or even kits you buy over the internet probably won't provide the results you desire. There are, however, many effective prescription treatments for acne: in your case, an antibiotic may be prescribed, a retinoid (like Tazorac or RetinA-Micro) or even Accutane.

Check out the links below from WebMD which will give you a better understanding of the different types of breakouts, and you will see information on cystic acne.

#1 I dont really have acne but i use Noxema cleansing cream. It comes in i little blue tub with a screw off lid, and in a pump. A friend of mine started using it after she had a huge break out and it started helping in days. You could also use a mask. #2 those are probably scars...did u pick at the zits? thats a big no no.

ok, so i have that purpleish thing right in the middle of my forehead! and it hurtss! i have no clue wha it is!

This mask should help, mix 1 tablespoon of dried or fresh yeast with 2 tablespoons of lemon juice; apply on face, wait until it gets hard (try not to move), peel or wash with warm water.Check out http://useinfo-acne.blogspot.com/ for more useful info.
