Doxycycline after effects...?!
Question: Just finished a course of Doxycycline for a bad cases of sinusitis... its worked which is the main thing!! im experiencing a bad taste of something in my mouth think its metalicy.... but not quiet sure.. is this normall? has anyone else experienced this... ive been drinking water which they state you should...any ideas please..?

it can happen with the tetracyclines (like doxy). it sucks now, but it should go away. nothing to worry about.
There should be a little leaflet that tells you about the drug and its side effects in the packet if you are worried. I think the funny metal taste thing is not unusual, but if you're worried and it doesn't go away or you have been getting nauseous, have vomiting or diarrhoea please see your doctor straight away. Those are the adverse effects if you get them, and they are pretty unlikely now you have finished your course.
