I have a rash on my right arm pitt...?!

Question: It seems like it started when, I used a particular body perfume.

I stopped using the body perfume and continued using anti persprant deodarant - which I have done so for many years, without harm. The rash will not dissapear completely, it chooses random times to become irratated and painful.

Has anyone else experienced this? Is there a particular deodarant I should search for, to keep the rash at bay? Appreciation and Thanks in advance.

When I see questions like this, I always tell people to consult a physician. Plain simple, is the best place for you to find an answer that works.

About the rash, this is obviously an allergic reaction so get a sample of this perfume and have it analyzed or at least have someone with a chemistry background (maybe even a doctor) to look at the formula. It could have been the fragrance you know, since these are prepared extracted fnatural oils from different plants. This could help you not only solve you current problem but to prevent future ones since you'll be identifying what causes your skin to react.

Anyway, once you know the cause it's easier to get a treated.

hope this helps, take care

I would try using Toms All natural deodorant. It's really easy on your skin. I have a friend who's allergic to deodorant and she uses it and it's really good for you.

I've had this. What I did was to stop using any deodorant and washed my arm pits every day with a non perfumed soap until the rash went. When it did go, I went back to using a deodorant, but one that didn't have any perfume in it.

Another cause could be if you have changed detergents or conditioner for your laundry. I also use a non perfumed detergent just in case.

I hope that helps.
