What's worse dying young, or living to be 80 and having Alzheimer's?!

Question: By young I mean 50!

For me it would be to get to 80 years old and have Alzheimer's. Just the thought of loosing all your accomplishments, your memories, your dreams, your sense of self is just sad. At least if you die at 50 you have your sense of self before you go. The next day after you die, your not gonna remember anything, let alone be able to think, but still. That's why I avoid drinking and eating products out of aluminum cans. aluminum may help cause Alzheimer's.

What do you think is worse?

dying young!!!!...even if you do not remember anything you did it doesn't mean it didn't happen...your kids and grandkids will be there as a reminder to everybody else and they'll know what kind of person you were...just because your mind doesn't work as it used it doesn't mean it's not worth living...what's the purpose of dying young?...you're not gonna suffer the most when you're forgetting everything anyways

I have died before.

are you really living if you have Alzheimer's?

I don't think I want to die at 50.

Some people who get Alzheimer's don't get it until they're much older.

I'll take my chances.

Interesting question. I don't know how to answer this because I want to live a long prosperous, healthy life.

well i would have to say that it would be worse dying young! but that's just what i think! happ to help! ?

when evers good i guess when im older, i want to accomplish stuff and have fun, etc.. but i dont want to have Alzheimer's and forget almost everything that i've worked for.

so i would say when im old but without diseases, but peacefully.

both actually. dying young (under 40) then you haven't really had a chance to live but getting to 80 and having Alzheimer's then you don't remember any of it.
