dandruff shampoo worked for me, a really good conditioner... try a conditioner for ethnic ppl's hair... it is thick and made for difficult and ry hair, and work it into your scalp and let it sit for several minutes... also, ur doc can perscribe a perscription strength shampoo
Shave your head and start over.
Use dandruff shampoo
Don't wash your hair everyday. It strips your hair of it's natural oils and drys out your scalp. Selsen Blue works really well, or if it's really bad you may want to see your derm. and they can perscribe something for you. Also, my mom used coconut oil on her dry scalp and it completely got rid of her dandruff. Hope this helps
The best dandruff shampoo I've used is... HEAD AND SHOULDERS (classic clean) shampoo. Don't get the 2 in 1. lol. JUST the shampoo. It's the only shampoo I use. It smells really nice too.. ;)
Ermm.... if that shampoo doesn't work for you (even though I think it will), then you can try T-Gel.
My husband suffered from dry skin/dandruff for years. We tried dandruff shampoos without much relief. However, after switching him to a good salon shampoo & conditioner it cleared. Go to your local hair salon and invest in some ph balanced shampoo and conditioner and I bet your problem will clear up.
Dandruff needs a multi pronged strategy.
Try Tea Tree Oil shampoo.
Keep your scalp clean.
Dont use very hot water to wash your hair.
Alternate shampoos.
