Why does my 20 year old brother have high blood pressure?!

Question: My younger brother is everything I wish I could be but don't want to work that hard to get there. He eats balanced meals with lots of fruits, vegetables, carbs and protein. He works out almost every day and has very little body fat, big muscles and a washboard stomach. He doesn't drink, smoke cigarettes, or do drugs. But for some reason, his blood pressure is very high. It moves around a lot, but two days ago he woke up and it was 135 over 85, the day before that it was 168 over 95, and today it was 163 over 95.

This seems to be very unusual, he has seen a few doctors who don't seem to know what could cause it, and they usually ask "are you taking methamphetamines?" He's not. That would be nice, because then at least he'd know what to do to fix it.

He's been on a few different medications that I don't know well enough to write their names, but they aren't working.

One suggestion is sleep apnea, he wore a monitor the other night, but they say it's a month to get the results.

HI Blaire

Here is a simple remedy to heal the issue, without drugs.

1/27/2008: Darren from Hicksville, NY writes: "I started taking Apple Cidar Vinegar to lower my blood pressure. Not only did it lower my pressure (My doctor was shocked at how low it went) It also cured my anxiety and a wart on my hand that i had for over a year. I tried everythin except going to the doctor to have it froze off. ACV made me a New person. Everyone at work said that i have more patience and am more relaxed. It is the Greatest thing since the invention of the wheel. I put a teaspoon full in a glass of water."

1/13/2008: marla from cleveland, ohio writes: "I'm reporting back after about 45 days on 2 teaspoons ACV, honey and water 3x a day...and it's hard to believe. My BP has been around 162 and as high as 190/92. a walking stroke. Now it's 125/82 and this morning it was 117/79! I do take a mild diuretic..I am still overweight with little exercise due to spine and leg pain from an injury. But this has given me some hope to make more changes. Please everybody report back here--so others can benefit. I am amazed."

Is he overwieght? That will cause it also sleep apnea does too. Does he have a stressfull Job because that will cause your blood preusure to be high too.
