How do you feel and what do you do when you watch someone have a bad asthma atta!


Question: I have Asthma. when i have a bad Asthma attack i do not like to be stared at, but i do not want to be ignored. if the person doesn't have his or her in haler offer to get it for them. during an attack they need to be still getting up to look for it may only make it worse. Ask if there is anything you can do, Talk to them but do not require them to Answer unnecessarily. it will be over soon.

help them find their inhaler, and try to get them to keep as calm as possible. maybe even distract them with appropriate conversation.

first, you have to calm. then tell the person you take slow deep breaths. then don't try anything that will agitate that person. ask if she has her inhaler with her. if she wants to do it herself, let her. but if she wants to do it. take the inhaler and wait until she inhales then spray the medication. make sure that its about 1 inch away from the mouth, don't put the inhaler in her mouth, the medication will not reach the affected side, it will only be disposed in her mouth. however, if she has a spacer then you can put it in her mouth.
