LOL mine is usually dellighted too! Try gargling with a soluble paracetamol in water -or get to the chemist and get some Chloraseptic spray. Feel better soon.

Sal

A new hubby....

Honey and lemon. Could try the old time guggling with salt water, also. Sounds like we have similar hubbies.

Hit him to make him stop being mean lol. Have the lemon lemsip drinks and get the Ultra Chloraseptic throat spray. ???

you might have infection on your throat, I suggest you to take antibiotic like amoxicillin 500mg three times daily for 5 days

Gargle with oraldene, take paracetamol for sore throat...then settle down with a note pad and write the biggest "to do" list known to mankind for hubby....ie clean toilet, cut grass, cook dinner (roast not chicken ding!).

LOL bet he is less delighted then.......

Me tooo; but mine is self inflicted in a way! Screamed my throat raw watching rugby yesterday, then tried to sooth it with booze!! Wales won so will gladly do it all again in Cardiff next week.

HOT LEMON AND HONEY DRINK AND REST
SOUNDS LIKE YOU GOT LARYNGITIS WHICH IS AN
INFLAMMATION OF THE LARYNX [VOICE BOX]
CAN COME ON WITH A COLD
IF IT GET WORSE SEE YOUR DOCTOR

get yourself some chloroseptic throat spray. tastes horrid but works wonders. you will have your voice back in no time ha ha

Qute! Short of getting rid of hubby, gargle with, but don't swallow, Hydrogen Peroxide mixed with water, for 2 days as often as you can.

I empathise with your husband and sympathise with you.lol

in my country we mix hunny with olives oil it has a great effect and tasty as well, also you can use food salt mixed with oil for gargling
get better soon

1. Honey and Lemon for the throat. Then rest it until it returns (maybe watch a few films and eat plenty of ice cream).

2. A long To Do List for the hubby (remember to include the odd jobs like clean out the garage and the garden shed). You could also make him do the housework (if you want to be really evil LOL).

Gargle with an aspirin solution if you can tolerate aspirin. Make the solution fairly weak so you can keep at it regularly. You should recover within a few days xx

Gargle with warm salt water, later have a spoonful of honey.

You could also record a few Hubby related grumbles in case it happnes again! :)

I don't know where you live, and don't know if you have a singseng (Chinese herbal pharmacy shop) nearby. But they can fix you a concoction of herbs and various roots and bark that will get your voice back.

It happened to me once, and I drank that 'tea' ... the next morning my voice was back.

Just rest your voice. Try not to use it At All!!! for a week or so.

Carry pen and paper with you wherever you go, and just scribble down your message.

Wishing you speedy recovery :)

See your doctor.
