All you can do is treat it symptomatically. Drink lots of liquids, hot liquids help to clear congestion. Rest also. Take care!
i have the flu too right now as a matter of fact, so what am i doing instead of sleeping? answering people's questions haah
all ive been doing is drinking lots of tea and theraflu, advil, and nasal stuff. i keep a bottle of water, tissues, a sweatshirt, and chapstick with me everywhere i go
i hope you feel better than i do!
Not really.
There is a drug called Tamaflu, but you have to start taking it within 24-48hrs of flu symptoms and will not help a cold.
Tamaflu can lessen the duration of the flu, but some flu strains are now resistant to Tamaflu and it is not a cure. It is also expensive and requires a confirmed influenza diagnosis.
They gave me some kind of cough syrup (with narcotics in it) that was the only way i made it through...and i took nothing but that and drink a lot of water and rest.. this is how i got over it..
