Lung Cancer?!
Question: The guy i've been dating for awhile now recently went to the doctor. He told me that the doc told him if he was lucky he would make it to 25. He didn't want to tell me what he had, so im assuming it's lung cancer. I have no idea what stage he's in, but i do know that when they took the xray, the doc told him that he couldn't even see his lung. I was just wondering if it is lung cancer, and how long he has to live? And I also need some encourgment, there really isn't any one that I could tell this to, and if i did he would be the one, but it's so hard to talk to him about this. Thanks

It could be lung cancer. It is so sad that the Doctor did not even try to give him some hope. Is he undergoing any treatment any time soon? Let him know you are there for him and if he does open up let him know that people can be cured. Pray can help. Mind over matter can help. Positive thinking from those around can help. I am sorry for you and your friend. Hopefully it was all a mistake. 5 years ago I had lung x-rays taken they had me all sacred I had cancer. I went in for 2nd and 3rd opinions and found out the x-ray machine they used was dirty. The doctor who told me was so embarrassed she would never talk to me and then within weeks moved out of the area.

you need to talk to him about it, tell him how you feel. you also need to confide in a close friend or family member, you'll feel so much better when you talk about it with someone.

It may be cancer, a tumor, a fusion,
who knows, but either way it all requires surgery or drainage,
i suggest you go to another doc that gives you more info.
Sorry that your boyfriend has a health issue. He needs a diagnosis. 25 is really young for primary lung cancer or emphysema. Is he at risk for TB or fungal lung infection? Is he a smoker, landscaper or farm worker? Does he have a history of another cancer? What symptoms does he have?
Again, you need a definitive diagnosis. Good luck.
