Well I would say its severe.
Do you eat or drink really ice cold drinks? Cold is a factor for some asthmatics.
What medication are you taking? Aspirin and Advil can also be triggers in asthma patients.
The heat could have dust and stir up things that might trigger an attack.
Like I said before some people have triggers such as cold and also exercise for some people trigger asthma. Are you on asthma meds? You need to speak to a doctor about your symptoms and work with him on the proper treatment and when you should go to the hospital if you are having sever symptoms. Sever asthma can be life threatening without treatment. Get to a doctor soon. Good Luck

That's a little extreme...I am surprised that person is alive. That's past severe. Why do you ask?

It may be severe asthma, but I really wouldn't be surprised if there isn't a touch of anxiety playing a role there as well. I, too, have moderate persistent asthma, but it's controlled well with daily medications, breathing techniques and inhalers/nebulizers for attacks and rescue.
This person's asthma is obviously not controlled and he/she needs to visit a pulmonary specialist doctor for guidance and change of medications, as well as an antianxiety treatment.
