What are the chances that strep throat can spread throughout my body without ant!
Question: I am not sure if I have had it for almost 3 weeks or if I just got it because I have been sick for almost three weeks but I never knew what I had exactly. I thought it was maybe the flu but I checked my throat last night and it had white spots "strep" on it. Do you think I just got it or I have had it all this time?

your body can eventually fight it off on its own its a more painful process though. I had strep last year on valentines day when symptoms started .. yaay... I had to shovel a ton of frozen snow to get my car to the emergency room cuz i couldn't eat anything and icewater even hurt to drink. Well the retarded doc charged me $170 and told me I didn't have strep but sent a swab to the lab to retest. 2 weeks later after I fought it off on my own I got a call and someone said yeah you have strep come on in for a perscription. ... thanks doc .. a$shole

Very good- it can lead to meningitis, and obsessive cumpolsive behavior- go get some penicillin and tal=ke care of it.
The possibility of it spreading through your body is not likely. The best way to take care of it without using antibiotics is taking care of yourself, for example taking vitamins.
I dont think white spots necessarily mean strep. Sometimes they are tonsil stones which are just collections of food or sometimes white blood cells which were used in fighting an infection.
I wouldnt worry about it... Strep if untreated can cause Scarlett Fever, but you'll be absolutely fine.
Just head into the doctor and get some antibiotics and you'll be on your way to feeling better in no time.
well strep usaully is accompied with high fever so u probably may have just devoleped it u will have to see a dr or hey can not treat u i hope u get well soon

The biggest risk of not treating strep throat is the risk of developing "rheumatic fever" which is actually your body's inflammatory response to the untreated streptococcal infection. So, if you suspect step go to your Doctor or Urgent care center to get a one minute strep test. Get your antibiotics and avoid the risk.
