Yellow scalp?!

Question: Today when I was getting my hair cut, my hairdresser noticed a bit of yellow skin on my scalp. It's not all over, just a small patch on one side. I've never dyed my hair, and I haven't switched shampoos lately... I'm going to a dermotologist tomorrow, but I was worried and wondering if anyone knows what this could be from?

Sounds like either scalp psoriasis or seborrheic dermatitis. Your dermatologist will know.
