difficult to say if this is a lot of med, depends what you are taking it for. I had the same stomach problems with my med, repeatedly told doctors of the problem, but was ignored. like you I researched it myself, but told my doctor of any changes I made, which you must do and clearly tell him the reason why. These day you do need to have a medical degree to resolve your own medical problems. I believe that had I not researched my own med problems and treatment. and solely relied on my doctors, I would be dead by now. I have quite a complicated medical history. We know our own bodies, what they can and can't cope with.. Be careful keep a diary of any side affects , your choice of alternative med, print it out and give your doctor a copy for your file.

I've never believed in taking tabs, meds' for alot of things, only if they are absolutely necessary.

Stop taking drugs! They'll ruin your life. You shouldn't put too much trust in doctors.

Antidepressants are a scam. Their is a reason why you are depressed: Life sucks. Their is a solution: Deal with it. Drugs that make you feel better will mess you up in the long run if you take them continuously.

Here's what you do:
Eat a balanced diet (grains, vegetables, dairy, meat, and even some sweets.) The trick is variety; not eating too much of any one type of food. Drink plenty of water (headaches are the first symptom of dehydration.) Avoid processed foods, try to eat mostly natural things. Read the food label. If you can't pronounce half of the ingredients, then it isn't natural. Exercise often. Try walking places or taking stairs when you would normally drive or take an elevator. For strength training, you don't have to buy expensive equipment. You can get an elastic resistance tube to do most gym exercises for $10: http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_ss_gw/103...

A healthy lifestyle should take care of the vast majority of your health problems. Only see a doctor if you have a serious life threatening ailment, and even then be skeptical of the drugs he tries to push you.

bupropion is for depression. I'm not a doctor, but I think the question I would ask is which is worse, the side effects of the drug or the depression if you are off the drug? I wouldn't be in a hurry to medicate depression unless it was really hindering my life. If you are an adult, nobody can force you to take a drug. I don't know your medical history, but you mention "doctors". I would think one doctor should treat depression. Have multiple doctors prescribe you psychiatric drugs isn't a good thing unless they are working as team. I don't think depression should be treated with drugs alone. Are your doctors doing any therapy besides giving you these drugs?

Not really I take two zaphrisdone and 1 benztrop per day. At first it seemed like a high dosage as it was making me very drowsy and my heart pace would increase at times making me feel uneasy and sick. After a little while maybe a few months you body goes back to being normal again. And I couldn't feel any more happier than what I am now I still coff a little but that's about it. You'll get used to them so don't stop taking your meds they have very bad withdrawal symptoms if you decide to come off which I don't recommend.

doesn't sound like a huge amount of meds if you have something wrong with you, but you haven't really given much information about what's going on.
sometimes when something really is wrong, it is necessary to take some medications - having said this though, when your doctor prescribes you medication you have a right to know what exactly these pills are for, what side-effects they may have, and what will happen if you don't take them. if your doctor hasn't provided you with this information - i suggest you go back and find out, or find another doctor!
there are a lot of uses for these particular drugs - mainly for anxiety, can help with sleep, and depression along with other things. if like you said they are not working for you, then it doesn't sound like they are the right ones for you.
there is a lot of research that for these problems there are a load of ways to fix this type of problems without drugs - we live in this society where we want (or are sometimes just given) a quick fix. we have a problem, we pop and pill and expect everything to be perfect. the trouble is these drugs don't really fix the problem!
i would suggest doing a lot of research online. i have put some links here that may interest you - they are all things i have used personally and found helpful.
good luck!
this program deals with brainwaves and can help to reduce anxiety and depression. go to this link for a free sample cd: http://www.centerpointe.com/centerpointe...
this book, Happy For No Reason - Marci Shimoff, has helped me through the times when I am not happy (and most anxiety if that's the problem is caused by unhappiness or uneasiness): http://www.happyfornoreason.com/MyBook
and i would also HIGHLY recommend either reading or watching The Secret. while a lot of people (usually negative, cynical, or just skeptical of everything type people) dismiss The Secret as mumbo-jumbo, when you are feeling down and out, if you really want to change you will try ANYTHING. this movie/book has changed my life. it's worth checking out! www.thesecret.tv

I take 5htp instead of my prescribed antidepressant and I feel so much better.

Prescribed meds rot your brain and should be avoided whenever possible.
