From the internet: 1. Lymph nodes in the neck can be enlarged because of infections, inflammatory diseases, or cancer. But by far, the most common cause of swollen Lymph nodes is infection; also you have to take in account that the nodes may not return to normal size for several weeks after the infection has cleared.

2. What causes swollen lymph nodes?
Lymph nodes often swell in one location when a problem such as an injury, infection, or tumor develops in or near the lymph node. Which lymph nodes are swollen can help identify the problem.

Glands above the collarbone (supraclavicular lymph nodes) may swell from an infection or tumor in the areas of the lungs, breasts, neck, or abdomen.

From me: I would have a doctor evaluate it just to be on the safe side.

it might be a tumor, im only 14 so dont take my word for it just go and see your doctor.

let me ask you something and don't just shoot from the hip. Have you recently, within the last year, woken up from a sound sleep DRENCHED IN SWEAT??? To the point where you need to use a paper towel to dry off, or something?
Is there a part of your chest or back that seems to wind up itching for some reason, so much that your t-shirts have holes in them at that point where you scratched?
Do you feel more tired than you used to? All the time tired? Are you losing weight? It could be Hodgkins...I don't know.

Swollen lymph nodes are common and can be caused by several things. I would reccomend just getting it checked by a regualr doctor and they might test you for infection. If it is REALLY swollen, like a lump, it could be a tumor, bad mono, or even the black plauge and I would recommend getting it checked immediatly, because it could be a sign of a serious disease. (when I say REALLY swollen, I mean like a small egg. Just so not to freak you out.)

this may or may not be a tumor.
mostlikely not
you were probably sick like you said you had a stomache viris. lymph nodes tend to get swollen just like your glands to when you are sick.
this may be cancer or not!
go see a doctor that requires no insurace.

one year ago my father had swolen lymph notes. He went in and they said it was cancer. Now it was a very rare occurence. Everyone said oh it wont be but it was. Now the good news is this is not a deadly cancer if what you have is actually cancer which i doubt. All it is is surgery and within 2 months you will be up and fine again. Yes it is not fun but the surgery isnt awful and you recover quickly. Im just telling you thins because if it is this no that you will be fine. It is probally just a virus though. Good Luck.

Are you old and a smoker for a long time, and have you been coughing or irritation in your throat for some months? If yes, it could be serious. I had a relative who had a swollen lymph node by his collar bone which turned out to be cancer, and he passed away about a year later. Go see a doctor ASAP to have a C-Scan or a biopsy of the swollen lymph node.

Your Lymph nodes are part of your immune system. Get it checked. I totally understand your "no insurance" problem. But it's best not to let things like that go for too long. Trust me, I know.
