HELP Me -- EMERGENCY?!
Question: I woke up at 4 am today and I was wondering why I was so itchey. I looked in the mirror and I saw I had huge devolopmnts of lumps all ovber my body. They itch and when I itch them they spread. They very in size from about the size of a misquetoe bite to the size of a quarter. Im so worried, please help me!
Ive been taking the antibiotic minocycline for acne, maby that can be the cause? Is there anything I should be worned about?

STOP the antibiotic ASAP. Call your doctor and let them know you have had an allergic reaction. The doctor will probably have you come it to determine if it is a reaction or somehting else.
Take some benedryl. Will help the itching
Just for the posters who did not think this is an allergic reaction to the med: a quick FYI - anytime a patient is on an antibiotic and develops a rash, you should always assume that it is caused by an allergy to the med until proven otherwise.
Have you been swimming in the last 12 or so hours? If you have it's probably sea lice. They itch like a bastard for several days.
Either way it sounds very much like bites from some sort of tiny bug. Give your bed linen a thorough wash.
yea sounds pretty farked up man, see a docter could be anyhting, maybe you were sweating to much or sumthing. thats causes a rash sometimes, but yea sus the doc out anyway
some insects may have bitten you
look like drug reaction to minocycline or some topical ointment your are using . stop all medicine and use some antihistamine
Yes, you may be having a reaction to the minocycline.
Also, have you been out in the sun a lot since starting your medication? Minocycline increases your sensitivity to sunlight, which can cause burns on your skin. If they're itching, though, my guess is you're having an allergic reaction.
At any rate, you should see your doctor immediately.
Use medicine that you use when you get mosquito bite, spread it on your skin.
That's probably some kind of alergies. I got it many time n I never take any pills, just dont scrath too much n the itch will vanish the next day.
If it doesnt work then go to your doctor.
Have you ever had chicken pox? I'm not sure if it's the antibiotic though... possibly you might have eaten something bad last night.
You might be better checking with a doc, if not at least drink lots of water and stop the antibiotics for a while until it clears up.
maybe an allergic reaction, how long have you been taking it?

It sure sounds like an allergic reaction, stop the anti-biotic for a few days. Sometimes if you take a cool shower it cools the nerves under the surface of the skin and, the swelling may go down, you could also try a Benadryl pill, it's a antihistamine and may work. I would also contact the doctor and tell him what happen, he may change your meds.
Your either having some kind of allergic reaction or some bug might have bitten you. You should get it checked by a doctor before it gets any worse.
OK time to-use some aloe Vera plant juice directly onto the lumps
Also a antihistamine helps just a over the counter one
But you do need to be tested to see what it is you are allergic to
