No it doesn't. It's a rumor that's been going around for some time but any reliable source, i.e. a doctor, will tell you that it doesn't.

I LOVE coffee too! But i think anything in moderation is OK. I am personally more concerned about the air we breath and the contanimated products with chemicals than the natural product of a cip of coffee in the am.

Yes it is. But only when a reaction is made with it. Ir complicated biochemistry thing which takes hours to explain.
