If someone has only one x chromosome what disease does she have?!

Question: Having one X Chromosome is not a disease. Also, down syndrome is when someone has 3 X Chromosomes. If you have only one X Chromosome it's called Turner Syndrome.

Here are some symptoms of the syndrome. (I got this from Wikipedia)

Short stature
Lymphoedema (swelling) of the hands and feet
Broad chest (shield chest) and widely-spaced nipples
Low hairline
Low-set ears
Reproductive sterility
Rudimentary ovaries Gonadal Streak (underdeveloped gonadal structures)
Amenorrhea, or the absence of a menstrual period
Increased weight, obesity
Shield shaped thorax of heart
Shortened metacarpal IV (of hand)
Small fingernails
Characteristic facial features
Webbing of the neck (webbed neck)
Coarctation of the aorta
Poor Breast Development
Horseshoe kidney

down syndrome ?

A penis.

Being a guy.

"She" has an identity crisis.

That would be a man. XY = male

Turner Syndrome

xy-male xx-female. is there something else your trying to ask? we would have understood the question better if you had asked what it would be called if a female had only one chromosome. sorry

she is a boy. it's incurable. :-(

one X= boy
two XX= girl

Turner Syndrome is XXX

I can't remember the single X chromosone thing...

last time I checked there are more male specific genes associated with diseases such as color blindness, hemophilia,
and retardation, females on the other hand have to suffer simply because they are born female. Thats just what I think and if you think I am wrong too bad.
