Is it normal to feel pain in your chest while consuming alcohol?!
Question: I get sort of a 'tightness' in my ribcage/lungs, that area, while drinking alcohol sometimes. It doesn't matter what type I drink (vodka, whiskey, rye, rum, etc) either.
I also take the medication Celexa (0.5 mg) at night.
Any ideas?

i havve felt that before too and I'm not on any medications.
I think it might have something to do with it entering your blood stream or something.
I usually only feel that way if i haven't eaten much before i've drunk.
