Question: Please give Details explaining it

Answers: Please give Details explaining it

Literally "fibrous" "muscle" "pain". It's also called "fibrositis" or literally "inflammation of fibrous tissue."

1. Pain in ligaments, tendons, muscles, joints, and in "trigger points" as in this image http://www.medicinenet.com/images/illust...
2. Fatigue and "fibro-fog"--inability to remember names, tasks, details.
3. Sensitivity--cold drafts, bright lights, even the pressure of clothes on your body hurts.
4. Bowel problems, such as irritable bowel syndrome.
5. Some sufferers have anxiety, depression, chest pain, dry skin/eyes/mouth, Raynaud's symptoms http://www.mayoclinic.com/health/raynaud... and tingling in hands/feet.

Fibromyalgia is different for each sufferer. Some have mild occasional symptoms; some are literally disabled by it.

I have had fibromyalgia for over 10 years.

Fibromyalgia is a rheumatic disease which causes tender muscles, fatigue, headaches etc. The cause is unknown and it is sort of a controversial disorder as there are no specific tests for it. It is diagnosed with criteria which the person must meet. The criteria include tender points in several areas of the body for a specific amount of time. Treatment is usually difficult, pain meds and antidepressants are used.
