What could cause my ear problems?!
Question: For the past 6-7 months I've had excessive ear wax in both my ears. It started in the left ear and then within a month this happened to the right ear.
I went to my physician about 8 months ago because I couldn't hear out of my left ear and she prescribed me antibiotics and steroids. About 2 weeks after I had finished treatment, ear wax began to just seep constantly. It seemed like the opposite effect had happened...from stuffy ear to leaking ear.
If I'm not constantly cleaning my ears then a crust develops inside my ears and they become very itchy. Also, there's always stains on my pillow due to some type of ear discharge.
I'm unsure as to wether this is a eustachian tube problem?
I also developed eczema about a month after this problem occured.
Both are first time issues for me. I can't afford a ENT at the moment so I'm trying to research the issue myself.
