What the difference between saggish boobs and breast cancer?!

Question: I just came across IBC sites by accident. And now I am worried. I started breast growth when I was in grade 12, I have my mother's big bust gene, but back then I didn't have the best of bras. So now my breasts hang by two inch thick skin against my chest there is stretch marks to show the skin. Both are the same size, I do breast exams and they resemble one another. They are quite heavy, they tend to stretch my bras abit. They are peachish in color until where the boob itself hangs, it's pinkish with small veins there( Think of it as a pear, the bottom of the pear just looks redden blanched, I always thought it was because it hangs, there is no pain or tender ness by touch expect when I take it out of the bra. They get stiff from being put up in the better bras I have now. I've been feeling a burning sensation that comes and goes as of late though. I have a inverted nipple that gets perky when cold or aroused, no pain there, or discharge. I've had it forever though. They are 42DDD.

It is extremely rare for someone as young as you to have breast cancer.

Nevertheless you are wise to be breast aware. These don't sound like the symptoms of breast cancer. Have you always had the inverted nipple or is that a recent change? All changes in the breasts should be investigated.

If you're worried see your doctor to put your mind at rest; when we read about a disease's symptoms it's easy to imagine we have that disease.

You're boobs sound normal to me, as long as you don't have any discomfort, lumps etc... you're ok. You probably just haven't found the right bra for you. Try going to Fredericks of Hollywood they help you find the best fit. Good Luck

When they are that heavy, they will sag naturally.
That does not have anything to do with cancer.

You should get a physical from a Dr. and tell him/her of your concerns.

Pendulous breasts do not predispose you to breast cancer. Breast cancer is a lump that is found often during self-exam and a mammogram confirms its presence. Most of the time, it is not painful. You should be having yearly mammograms after the age of 40 and one screening exam (so they have something to compare it to) around the age of 35. Sagging breasts are just a complication of their size and you are taking care of that by buying better quality bras.

For your age and that size, I would suggest breast reduction surgery, down to a manageable size. That all depends on your body size. I saw a young woman in a restaurant the other day and her breasts would make yours look like a A cup!! She will have some severe problems when she gets older as you will if you don't do something soon. I wish you all the best.

Well, I always thought that breast cancer was lumps, not because of saggy breasts.

if i was a doctor id have to see them, sounds like my wifes boobs.nothing to worry about.

Its good that you do breast exams...that is very important for every woman to do. I don't think that you are more prone than anyone else, but I found an article that may answer some of your questions. Take care.
