A pinched nerve

Tight shoes

Seeing that you're asking this question under the diabetes section, I have to assume that you are diabetic.

Numb, tingling toes is definitely a side-effect to diabetes....you tend to lose circulation in your extremities. This is VERY serious and you should contact your doctor for a check-up. Please don't delay, my grandmother put it off for too long with very bad consequences.

Good luck.

if its your right toe it cud be gout
why right toe did u ask ??
its the furthest from your heart and the blood crystalises there first
so is it u right big toe thats the problem ??

Gout,or possibly diabetes, if you have not been tested for diabetes, you should do so.

Though you don't mention it in the question, you have put this under diabetes. Assuming that you are diabetic, your problem is very likely to be a diabetic peripheral neuropathy. These are usually a result of poor diabetic control, basically running around with a high HbA1c.

Go see your GP or diabetic physician or contact your diabetic liaison nurse.
